No one likes to travel without their pet, but Kings Veterinary Hospital makes it a little easier.   Our caring technicians and assistants make sure to keep track of your pets’ ins and outs; are they eating, drinking, having normal eliminations?   By boarding with us at Kings Vet, we will make sure that your pet is safe, comfortable, and most importantly healthy in your absence.   If your pet needs veterinary care while they are staying with us, we can provide that easily.

If you have a dog that is bouncy and playful and needs extra time to burn off some energy, we offer deluxe playtimes.  In addition to multiple daily walks, deluxe playtimes allow your dog to  play in our yard chasing balls, interacting with our caring staff, and running off some steam.    If you have a geriatric pet that needs extra time to get up and stretch their legs, deluxe playtimes are a great way to give them more opportunity to move around.   Cats love deluxe playtimes as well.   We will spend time petting, brushing, and playing with your feline friend.

Our boarding kennel is well lit, spacious, and is attached to a fenced play yard.   Our boarding facility is conveniently located in Loveland near Landen, Maineville, Mason, and Symmes Township.

Because we are a veterinary clinic, we are able to provide medical care for our boarding patients.   Whether your pet needs medications administered, conditions monitored, or treatment for an illness or injury, we are able to meet their needs.

What you need to know:

  • We recommend that you bring your pet’s food from home.   Boarding is a change in routine and changing their food during this time can often cause gastrointestinal upset.   Please bring their food in the smallest container possible as space is limited.
  • We ask that you leave all other personal belongings at home.   We will provide bedding, bowls, toys, and any other comfort items that your pet might need.
  • A bathing charge may be applied if your pet soils him or herself during their stay.
  • If your pet needs medications during their stay, please bring them in their original containers and leave us specific instructions for dosing.  There is a daily fee for medication administration.  All medications are administered by our technical staff.
  • All boarding patients are required to be up to date on their immunizations.    If your pet is not a patient of Kings Veterinary Hospital, proof of immunization is required.   If your pet needs their immunizations updated, we can perform those or any other service at our regular fees
  • We ask that all boarders be picked up after 10am on their date of departure in order to allow time for morning bathroom breaks, feedings, and medications to be completed prior to sending home patients.
  • If you would like your dog to be bathed before you pick them up, we do ask that you pick up after 12pm to allow time for them to be bathed and dried.
  • Please call ahead for reservations.   The holidays often book up early so make sure to give yourself plenty of lead time.   Call 513-697-0400 for reservations.

Could not have asked for a better outcome. My dog has had chronic bad breath for years. After taking her to several other vets and getting nowhere after operations, these guys have fixed her right up! Affordable and were quick to get my dog in and taken care of. If there were more than 5 stars they would certainly be getting them!
